A Chinese restaurant has been accused of serving human feet after a waiter posted a gruesome picture allegedly taken in its kitchen, on social media.

The gruesome picture allegedly taken in Chinese restaurant’s kitchen

After seeing the disturbing picture on social media, a regular Italian customer reported it to the authorities, where Police and food standards officials inspected the restaurant and found 55lbs of meat and frozen fish of doubtful origin.

They also found dirt and grease all over the refrigerators, on the floors and on the oven, reports said, as packages of frog legs and crab meat were reportedly found to be well beyond their expiry dates.

Police have consulted a forensic pathologist about the feet picture, who said they appeared human, and say they are still investigating the image’s origin.

9 Nicho Recipes That Make Your Healthy Day

Football is entertaining to watch, but let's be real... the best thing about the season is the food. Spicy wings, loaded pizza, and bar bites galore—all paired with an ice-cold beer and team camaraderie. Sounds like the perfect Sunday, no? If you're trying to avoid total gut-bombs, fortunately there are plenty of ways to enjoy healthyish game-day grub. The best part: There’s no need to skimp on flavor. These nine nacho-average recipes are proof.

1. Mini Nacho Pizzas

Photo: Lunch Box Bunch

The toughest problem to tackle when it comes to eating nachos is that once we start, we can’t stop. These mini pizzas throw a Hail Mary pass by providing pure satisfaction in just one serving. Made with whole-wheat English muffins, vegan cheese, beans, and tons of veggie toppings, they’re sure to keep you full through halftime.

2. Grilled Zucchini Nachos

Photo: Two Peas and Their Pod

Zucchinis are making a comeback. They first stole the stage as low-carb noodle substitutes, and now they’re stepping in for the beloved tortilla chip. Top with melted cheddar cheese, black beans, and the usual nacho fixings. You won’t even miss that corn chip crunch.

3. Chicken and Black Bean Nachos

Photo: The Baker Mama

Sometimes the smallest changes yield the biggest results. That’s the case with this recipe, which keeps traditional ingredients such as cheese, corn, and pico de gallo, and makes small adjustments (like using black beans and grilled chicken for extra protein) to create a similar flavor with way more health benefits.

4. Grilled Sweet Potato Nachos

Photo: Pinch of Yum

Made with multigrain tortilla chips and sweet potato wedges, this spicy spin on nachos is enough to fuel you through a full marathon (running or movie, we’re down for both). It also comes with a side of cheese sauce to drizzle on top or dip in. Need we say more?

5. Vegan Cheesecake Dessert Nachos

Photo: Abbey's Kitchen

Dessert is best when shared, and this sweet plate is definitely good enough for a group. Make your own base with multigrain flatbreads: Cut two into triangles, sprinkle with cinnamon and coconut sugar, and bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Then top with a cashew-based cheesecake drizzle, and pick a few toppings, such as fresh berries, cacao nibs, or toasted coconut. This one takes a little more work than the others, but it’s worth the effort, especially for vegan or dairy-free eaters.

6. Greek Goddess Pita Chip Nachos

Photo: Vegetarian Ventures

Sick of the same old melted cheese and ground meat combo? Try these Greek-inspired nachos instead for a fresher take on the bar-food favorite. They’re made with pita chips instead of tortilla, and are loaded with feta cheese, chickpeas, cherry tomatoes, olives, and a tahini dressing.

7. Apple Nachos With Peanut Butter and Chocolate

Photo: Trial and Eater

You can’t go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate (though this recipe would taste great with almond or cashew butter too). Simply melt your nut butter of choice, drizzle it over small slices of juicy apples, and top with dark chocolate chips. Yum.

8. Huevos Rancheros Breakfast Nachos

Photo: The Roasted Root

Sunny-side up eggs are a great addition to basically any savory dish, and these nachos are no exception. Add them on top of blue corn chips, sweet potato slices, black beans, and cheese, then throw on some diced tomatoes, onions, and avocado (duh). These hearty nachos are definitely filling enough to be a meal, and with the runny eggs, your best bet is to eat them with a fork.

9. Buffalo Chicken Mini Pepper Nachos

Photo: Smile Sandwich

For those who want to cut back on carbs but don’t love zucchini, there’s still hope. Bell peppers make the perfect vehicle for nacho toppings, and unlike chips, the sturdy peppers won’t crumble when loaded. Spice up your night (and life) with this buffalo chicken version, which requires just five ingredients (plus mini peppers, of course): shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, blue cheese crumbles, green onion, and shredded white American cheese.

Final Year Undergraduate Runs Mad After Beaten By Lover

A final year Business Administration undergraduate of a privately owned University in Oghara (name withheld) in Delta State, on Sunday allegedly ran mad after she was reportedly pummeled by her lover boyfriend.

File Photo

Reports said her roommates (names withheld) screamed for help when the undergraduate who hails from Benin city, Edo State allegedly undressed herself immediately she stepped out of her boyfriend’s room few miles away from their hostels.

It was gathered that the suspected insane undergraduate allegedly took her phone out of bag and slammed it on the floor naked, brought out her clothes and set fire on them before the onlookers rescued her.

An eye witness, Joy Tobi said that her roommate had tried to calm her down when it started like a joke, unfortunately, she had gone too far with the unfolding suspected madness, calling “saviour, saviour, look at what you have done”.

She was said to have been held by some strongmen hired by the school authorities and was later taken away to the hospital when she is at present responding to treatment.

Sources said it was the third time students have been allegedly been in mad drama, especially the female students who had formed the habit of “taking” from men without submitting to love making.

But a lecturer who did not want his name in the print, dispelled as untrue, adding madness is often associated with spiritual evil acts and the victim’s case might be of the same act.

MMMUNITED has broken the long silence, now they are back with an apology, you just have to read this important information.

The key points of the message will be stated below while you can go to their official website and read the full information.

Dear Participants,

First of all please forgive us for keeping silence for last few days. We understand that silence is hard to bear sometimes, especially when you need communication desperately. To be very honest we ourselves were confused considering current situation and we had very little to tell you. So we decided to clarify things first and then come to you with something concrete to talk about.

So the update is…Yes, dispatcher was on hold and lot of technical work was going on. This has caused due to two main reasons.

1. MMM Official (Run by honorable Mr. Sergey Mavrodi and team) in Nigeria is facing some legal issues created by Nigerian government. So lots of our Nigerian friends (Who are unaware of the fact that MMM United is totally independent entity and it has nothing to do with MMM Official) have panicked and requested every penny out of the system.

2. Our servers once again collapsed due to heavy traffic.

Those who have been unable to H, read this;

1. Weekly GH limit will be $500 per account. This limit will enhance every week by double.

First Week - $500

Second Week - $1000

Third Week - $2000

Forth Week - $4000 and so on…

Example: Franca has $3600 in her withdrawal wallet. She can only withdraw $500 first week. Remaining $3100 will be safe in her wallet. After 7 days from the date of her first GH request, her GH limit will be enhanced. Now she can withdraw $1000, remaining $2100 will be safe in her wallet. After 7 days from her second GH request her GH limit will enhance again. Now she can GH $2000 again and remaining $100 will be safe in her wallet.

2. Weekly GH limit doesn’t apply on new comers in the system. i.e. the accounts that are created after SYSTEM CONTINUANCE. They can request to GH after 7 days lock in period as usual.

3. Due to server updation growth for the period December 25 2016 to December 31 2016 is not calculated for all the accounts. Please do not create support tickets for this issue.

Host A Super Bowl Party Without Stress Today

So you want to host a Super Bowl party, but aren’t quite as into the actual game as some of your friends? That’s a-OK—in fact, you may be a better fit for hosting than the uber-sports fans. You’ll be willing to look up from the TV every now and then.

Hosting can get pricey if you’re not careful, especially for events that involve food, but being on a budget doesn’t mean you’re banned from parties. With a bit of planning (break down the event into categories: food, booze, and vibe), you’ll be well on your way to throwing a Super Bowl blowout with plenty to eat and drink—just maybe no snack stadium this year.

The Food

Super Bowl Sunday isn’t the day for a dinner party—but ordering wings for 20 people from your favorite sports bar could be just as expensive. Keep food snacky, finger-foody, and halfway-homemade to stretch your dollar as far as possible.

Need some ideas?

49 Healthy Dip Recipes That Put Guac to ShameThe Best Store-Bought Chips and Crackers for Healthy Snacking9 Nacho Recipes That Make Game Day a Tad Bit HealthierThe Best Salsas You Can Buy at the Store7 Healthier Wing RecipesPizza! If the group is still hungry by the halftime show, tell everyone to throw in five bucks for a big ol' pie.

Pro tip: We're big fans of putting out half of the food when guests first arrive. Then when halftime rolls around, you can surprise your guests with a new slew of dips, wings, and more dips to dive into. They'll praise you as the best host ever.

The Booze

Hosting doesn’t mean you have to spend all your money providing everyone’s liquor, but you'll need something to get them tipsy. Before guests arrive, mix up a batch punch with a champagne base. No matter who wins, it's a celebration of good food and good company, so the bubbly is a must. And don't think that champagne will scare the crazy-beer-loving-loud-screaming sport fan away.

In this Champagne batch cocktail, we share what else to have on hand so guests can make their drink according to whether they prefer rum, whisky, or just plain champs (pronounced "shamps"). Also, don't forget to channel your inner college student and provide vodka, club soda, and limes, and maybe a bag of frozen cranberries instead of the juice to give it that adulting touch.

It doesn’t sound like much, but you’ll change your tune after Dylan, James, and Alexa fill up their Solo cup a third time. (This is where that second bunch of apps come in handy. Drunk guests=major munchies.)

And for the most important tip when it comes to booze: Tell everyone who plans on drinking to show up with a six pack or bottle of wine—everyone can try new brews, and no one spends a fortune. Thirsty for more tips? Here's everything you need to know about stocking your bar and drinking on a budget.

The Vibe

OK, it's the Super Bowl after all, so there are going to be some serious fans. But for others, this is just another Sunday—only instead of doing laundry and meal-prepping, they plan to eat a lot of cheese and day-drink wine with friends. They can remember that epic Beyonce concert from last year and think some sort of game opened for her? But the die-hards want the room silent during intense plays, only to let all hell break loose when their team scores a touchdown.

No matter where you fall on this spectrum, we say embrace it. It's a good game to watch, you should pay attention to the commercials since they'll be the talk of your lunch break on Monday, and the halftime show is obviouslysometimes the best part. If you have a mix of guys and girls who really care or couldn't care less, be respectful of everyone. Think of your party like a bar, and make sure people can watch the action no matter what room they're in... at different intensity levels.

For the serious sports fans:
Turn on your TV in the living room and put the volume on high-ish (not so loud that people can't hear themselves chew your tasty apps). They won't miss a beat (or a punt). For the commercial and halftime show fans:
Set up a smaller gathering in your kitchen using a live-streaming iPad or laptop, so this group can still be in the know, but it's not so in-your-face. Aren't parties around a kitchen table the best parties anyway? Let the seats you do have fill up, and then everyone else can stand; it's what they'd be doing in a crowded bar.For the ones who ate too many apps:
Have a second iPad or laptop? Why not pop it in the bathroom for a full 360-viewing party? Kidding. Sort of.

The Takeaway

Ultimately, as a host, treat the day with a stress-free attitude. If you’re the one who’s shushing people every six seconds, you probably shouldn’t host a Super Bowl party. On the flip side, if you're rolling your eyes at every cheer, you shouldn't be hosting either. Just remember, Super Bowl is a great excuse to chill with friends and have a drink or two (or five) on a Sunday night. You have to at least try to wake up for work tomorrow, so if you're hungover AF,make these foods your new best friends.

7 Reasonable Ways To Mature, Calm And Become More Productive

I was recently in a business meeting with two men who disagreed on a plan of action. Is this uncommon in the workplace? Nope. Can it be uncomfortable? Um, definitely… especially when egos get involved.

Everyone else in the room braced themselves while the two executives faced off with their wildly different opinions. But to our surprise, the meeting went remarkably well… and all because one of these men simply exuded a calm maturity that was impossible to fight against. He met his colleague's argumentative tone with absolute tranquility, and the situation diffused.

Instead of offering rebuttals and contradictions, he kept saying things like, "I absolutely see your point, Jeff," and "You're right about that. Could we consider…"

I was impressed. Egos didn't rule that morning; they couldn't. There was too much calm in the room.

And you just can't meet that kind of Zen-like state with fire.

So what are more ways to bring tranquility, maturity, and inner peace into our lives? What we focus on has a tendency to expand. So if you focus on the drama, that's what you get, but if you focus on serenity, well… who couldn't use a little more of that this year? Here are seven ways you can bring more of that cool, collected calm—and the successes that results from it—into your life.

1. Focus on your own sh*t.

It can be so easy to compare ourselves to other people over our paychecks, the contents of our closets, relationship statuses... but when you realize that all that matters (and all that you can control) is you, you can't help but just do you. And when that happens, life gets awesome.

2. Don't overthink stuff.

When you stop trying to dissect and interpret the words, texts, tweets, and motivations of others, you'll experience that dose of tranquility you need. "Analysis paralysis" is such a precious waste of your time.

3. Know how to laugh at yourself.

Joan Rivers said, "Life goes by fast. Enjoy it. Calm down. It's all funny." Life doesn't have to be so serious, does it? And once you get to the point where you can laugh at yourself, you can laugh at pretty much anything.

4. Work before you play.

Maturity can almost always be measured by delayed gratification. Do the work first, don't half-ass it, care... and then play. Work can be fun too—especially when you commit to doing work that you love. Adulting can be great adventure, if you give it a chance.

5. Don't gossip.

When you just walk away from the water cooler when the boss is being whispered about, you're really doing yourself a favor in the long run.

6. Don't blame others.

I don't think there is anything more grown-up than taking 100 percent responsibility for your life. No excuses or exceptions—parental, governmental, or otherwise. When you own your circumstances and your "stuff," you're empowered.

7. Don't react.

There's nothing like watching reality TV to observe some highly reactive, immature, theatrical overreactions… and onscreen, they're great. Bring the drama!

But when you become a reality TV star's polar opposite—when you've mastered the art of non-reaction and let something that could have offended you just slide—then you're really winning.

Maturity begins when drama and dissatisfaction ends. We can quantify our calm by our ability to, in the words of T-Swift, "shake it off." You really can choose to free yourself from anything: a rude remark, an under-the-breath diss from someone you've never liked, an online hater, a passive-aggressive colleague... whatever.

When you can shake all that off and just focus on the present moment—which is all we ever have—you kinda have it all figured out. Guilt and regret can have you living the past, and anxiety and worry can make you future-trip. When you can simply Be Here Now… well, that calm will carry you far.

Sport: Shakira Tips Husband To Leave Club To Chelsea, Arsenal.

Pop singer, Shakira wants her partner and father of two kids, Gerard Pique to leave Barcelona as soon as possible and join a London club, preferably Chelsea or Arsenal.

According to Spanish website, Don Balon, the player could leave Barcelona after damaging his reputation among Spanish supporters who dislike him because of his vocal support for Catalonia- a region in northeastern Spain seeking independence from Spain.

Pique, 29, has been in Barcelona since leaving Manchester United in 2008, winning 26 major trophies for club and country, but his vocal criticism of Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo and the Spanish state has landed him in hot water, and Shakira, his partner since 2010 is tired of the whole drama.

The report claims that Shakira wants to move to London with Pique’s comments about Spain and Catalonia having a bad effect on her singing career, as fans in Spain associate her every move with the footballer’s comments.

According to the report, Pique could favor a move to Chelsea due to his close friend, Fabregas’ presence at the club, and Shakira will prefer London, as it’s a good place to also help with her musical business plans.

UK: Dangerous Woman To Be Sent To An All-Male Prison Over Murder (Photos)

A woman who is widely considered to be too dangerous based on her unbelievably heinous crimes, has been served her punishment.

Estibaliz Carranza

Estibaliz Carranza, a female murderer who is dubbed the ‘ice cream killer’ is thought to be so dangerous she will be the first to be moved to an all-male prison, according to a Metro UK report.

The woman, an ice cream parlour owner, took the lives of both her former husband and her lover when they failed to get her pregnant in 2008.

She killed the two ice cream men, before cutting them into pieces with a chainsaw and hiding them in one of her freezers, using air freshener to hide the smell.

When neighbours asked her where the chainsaw noise was coming from, she told them it was a new type of ice cream machine.

Carranza was sentence to life imprisonment in 2012 and is now being moved from her prison in Schwarzau to a special centre in Asten, near the city of Linz in Austria.

The state-of-the-art prison already holds 91 men, with 13 more female inmates soon set to be moved there.

The all-male prison where Carranza will be taken

Prisoners are allowed free movement within the centre, which has single and double rooms and allows inmates to cook their own meals together.

There is also a lounge area with a TV.

For the 91 prisoners already in the building, there are 45 nurses, 18 therapists, four doctors and eight prison guards on duty.

Carranza has only been given the green light to move to the prison as prison officers have deemed she shows an ‘advanced reduction of the relevant dangerousness’.

Court psychologist Heidi Kastner testified during her trial, saying that she was fully accountable for her actions and that she had a high chance of relapse.

She said at the time that therapy would most likely not work for her.

Carranza buried the bodies in the cellar

Her lawyers Rudolf Mayer and Werner Tomanek said she has made significant strides forward since being incarcerated.

In a joint statement they said: ‘It is important that our client can finally be comprehensively treated.’

The lawyers are still aiming for Carranza to be eventually transferred to a prison in her native Spain, but such a transfer would only be possible if the 38-year-old is considered cured.

They added that the Mexican-born Spanish national is studying business during her time behind bars.

Are You Searching For A Therapist? Checkout These Self Questions

Finding a new therapist can feel like going on a series of bad first dates, especially if the mental health care professionals you try out to start are nowhere near a good fit. During my journey, I turned to friends who had similar experiences, and I learned that I wasn't the only one who was struggling to find a match for mental health maintenance. So don't feel bad or give up if you haven't found your doctor yet. As a 30-year-old woman, it took me over two years to find "The One."

1. Are they tech savvy?

Ok, so this is still up for debate in a lot of psychiatric circles, as some professionals claim that texting with your shrink can negatively impact professional boundaries. But these days, quick-hit communication is part of life. Personally, I have terrible social anxiety and hate phone calls outside of a work setting, so having to actually call my doctor would just increase my anxiety, which isn't exactly the point of communicating with a therapist. For me—and most other millennials—our primary means of communication is via text or email. So if you're addicted to Snapchat and your doctor is from the Stone Age, it's probably not going to fly.

2. Does their expertise match with my needs?

For me, finding a doctor who was "culturally competent" was a must. This meant that when a black girl walked in their office, they wouldn't treat me like some far-out creature. Other folks I've talked with were adamant that the therapist they selected focused on PTSD. Not everyone in the field is equipped to deal with trauma... which can actually lead to more trauma.

3. Are they the right fit emotionally?

After two years of searching—and a number of encounters with therapists who couldn't really identify with my issues—I finally found a therapist I was optimistic about. But once I actually found them, getting to therapy induced an entire new set of new anxieties. Would they think I was unstable and toss me away into an asylum if I was upfront and honest about all of my irrational fears? Any therapist worth their salt will make you feel comfortable and let you know it's OK to open up.

4. Where can I find a good one?

When I moved to a new city not long ago, I didn't have the slightest idea of where I could find a new shrink. I obviously turned to Google, but the search term "Portland psychiatrist" returns a whopping 536,000 results, which only increased my feeling of being overwhelmed. After several unsuccessful attempts of going directly through my insurance provider assistance program, I eventually turned to Psychology Today, where I was able to narrow down my search and actually filter physicians based on their areas of expertise.

5. Can I afford this… and what are my options if I can't?

Although I am now #Blessed to have insurance, the psychiatrist I found is not in network. I chose someone out of network, because the in-network providers just weren't compatible, and I had already exhausted all my options. Prices I encountered ranged from $500-$800 dollars a session out-of-pocket before I finally found a physician who was a fraction of that cost but also open to a sliding scale.

Many health providers and organizations will evaluate your financial situation and work with you at a rate you can afford, or at the very least provide access to resources if you think you won't be able to cover the cost. To start with you can check out these 81 awesome mental health resources for when therapy is just too expensive.

6. What are their politics?

I am black Femme, extremely liberal, and believe in intersectionality, so many of my politics define my identity. Many of the people I spoke with preferred someone of the same gender, race, or even generation due to the fact that often our belief system is a factor in our recovery process.

As I navigate white supremacy and microaggressions on a daily basis, I needed someone who could empathize with or at least recognize what I was experiencing. Where I live now isn't very diverse, so when I began my search, I knew I would encounter a lot of white health are professionals. It didn't strike me as a problem at first, but as I began to meet with them, the sessions began to do more harm than good, as I had to sit through additional microaggressions or stop and educate the person who was supposed to be helping me. This soon became the most challenging part of the entire search.

That was until a friend told me she came up with a system that required meeting with the potential doctor candidate with a list of her own qualifications to measure their ability to identify with her culture and politics. If you add this phase of interviewing to the search process, you can uncover whether or not there is any chemistry to build a relationship through therapy.

These are suggestions are based on the author's personal experience, and what works for your needs may vary.

Paleo Snacks That Make Eating Plan Look Easy (Photos)

No grains? No problem. Paleo eaters may shun grains, processed vegetable oils, and refined sugars, but that doesn’t stop them from enjoying plenty of delicious dishes—and creating some downright ingenious recipe substitutions. Whether you’re a longtime primal-eating fanatic or just curious about what it’s like to go back to dietary basics, we’ve got 39 delicious Paleo-approved snacks for whenever hunger strikes.

Paleo Classics

1. Cauliflower Popcorn

Photo: Ditch the Wheat

Corn is a Paleo no-no, so replace the movie theater favorite with a more nutritious cauliflower version. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, then sprinkle with onion powder and chives. It’s not exactly the same, but you’ll get a similar satisfying crunch.

2. Pumpkin Hummus

Photo: What Great Grandma Ate

Going Paleo means saying good-bye to traditional hummus. This recipe swaps soaked cashews for chickpeas, giving it a slightly nutty taste that works oh so well with pumpkin purée. Serve with slices of your favorite dip-able vegetables, Paleo crackers, or just spoon it right into your mouth—we won’t judge.

3. Springtime Guacamole

Photo: Clean Eating Veggie Girl

We could eat guac all day, every day. This version keeps the classic cilantro and lime juice, but adds in green onions and radishes to keep it nightshade free. A little pink Himalayan salt and garlic powder goes a long way here. And we are adding a touch of hot sauce too.

4. Mediterranean Hummus

Photo: Per Chance To Cook

Sure, you can’t have chickpeas, but that’s no reason to ditch hummus for good. This Mediterranean alternative uses cauliflower and eggplant instead, plus red pepper, tahini, and lemon juice. Throw in some spices and a touch of olive oil, and snack away.

5. Roasted Garlic Baba Ghanoush

Photo: A Clean Bake

Eggplants are Paleo friendly for most, but store-bought baba ghanoush can still contain loads of hidden mayo—and that can mean unwanted vegetable oils. Go for a simple, mayo-free recipewith lots of garlic and a squeeze of lemon juice for a fresher take that won’t weigh you down. Try pairing this dip with some Paleo-friendly homemade rosemary sesame crackers.

6. Prosciutto-Wrapped Melon

Photo: Delicious As It Looks

A sweeter combo than most Paleo snacks, this easy recipe requires zero cooking. Pick a favorite melon (cantaloupe and honeydew work well) and wrap with preservative-free prosciutto for a juicy snack with a salty kick. Mint leaves and a balsamic vinegar and olive oil drizzle take this to an A+ level finger food.

7. Prosciutto-Wrapped Asparagus

Photo: Bravo For Paleo

Boil asparagus, cool in ice water, then wrap in a preservative-free prosciutto and roast for seven minutes, or until the prosciutto is crispy. This salty snack will also impress as an appetizer. Serve with a little olive oil drizzled on top and a dash of lemon pepper.

8. Roasted Brussels Sprouts With Bacon

Photo: Food Faith Fitness

Ah, Brussels sprouts. We’ve learned to love this veg in almost every form. Roast with diced bacon, chopped apples, and pomegranate seeds, and there’s even more to celebrate.

9. Avocado Deviled Eggs

Photo: Slim Sanity

Mash hard-boiled egg yolks with avocado, cilantro, garlic salt, and pepper, then stuff into egg whites for a greener take on deviled eggs. Bet you can’t eat just one. (We couldn’t eat just four.)

10. Baked Egg Cups

Photo: A Healthy Life For Me

Make these three-ingredient egg cups on Sunday and enjoy them throughout the week for breakfast or a quick snack. Each muffin tin slot gets a slice of bacon, an egg, and a few asparagus spears. Sprinkle some salt and pepper on top and pop in the oven for 12-17 minutes, depending on how you like your eggs.

11. Avocado Tuna Salad

Photo: Cook Eat Paleo

Presentation is on point in this simple, protein-packed snack. Cut an avocado in half and scoop out the middle, mixing the good stuff in a bowl with lemon juice, onion, tuna, salt, and pepper. Scoop the mixture back into avocado halves and dig in.

12. Chunky Monkey Trail Mix

Photo: Cotter Crunch

Let’s face it: A lot of the best-tasting trail mixes aren’t the best for Paleo peeps, since sugar-coated dried fruit, milk chocolate morsels, and peanuts often take center stage. Make your own version at home by opting for walnuts, cashews, unsweetened banana chips, and Paleo-friendly fudge chunks for just the right amount of sweetness.

13. Bacon-Wrapped Butternut Squash

Photo: Paleo Leap

We’re pretty much down for bacon-wrapped anything, and lucky for us, it’s often Paleo approved. Try this sweet and savory combo for a snack that’s great served hot and cold. Experiment with different thicknesses and varieties of bacon for a twist on flavor.

14. Egg-Stuffed Peppers

Photo: Stupid Easy Paleo

Stuffed peppers just got way simpler. Cut off the top of the pepper, toss out the seeds, and bake for 15 minutes. Then stuff with spinach and a raw egg, and bake for another 15-20, or until the egg whites are no longer transparent. No scooping necessary!

15. Rosemary Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Photo: Tastes Lovely

Sweet potatoes are a Paleo favorite, especially since they can be cooked so many different ways. This simple recipe lets the potato be the star, with just four other ingredients: fresh rosemary, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

16. Almond-Crusted Baked Zucchini Crisps

Photo: The Iron You

Course almond flour gives these crisps restaurant-style breading—without the bread. Garlic powder, thyme, sea salt, and pepper, bring out the flavor in these bad boys, and an egg ties it all together while also packing in some protein. Even non-Paleo eaters will love these.

Carnivore's Delight

17. Pepperoni Pizza Bites

Photo: Paleo Leap

No crust? No problem. These bite-size snacks use preservative-free pepperoni or salami as their base. Top with sweet peppers, tomatoes, sauce, almond "cheese," and a sprinkle of fresh basil for the full pizza experience.

18. Honey-Lime Chicken Wings

There are endless ways to serve chicken, but this recipe gets a special nod for proving wings don’t need to be breaded and deep-fried to taste great.

19. Turkey Meatballs

Photo: A Healthy Life For Me

Paleo enthusiasts have revamped the art of making meatballs, and this recipe goes above and beyond by using almond flour to ensure they actually stay together. The spicy hot sauce and fragrant Italian seasoning makes you forget all about the spaghetti that’s usually underneath.

20. Coconut-Crusted Chicken Strips

Say good-bye to fried mystery meat. These coconut-crusted nuggets bring back some major childhood memories, but are way less sketchy than whatever comes out of a drive-through window. Best of all, these nuggets come with a recipe for Paleo honey mustard dipping sauce for a condiment we won’t have to write off as a cheat meal.

21. Kitchen Sink Egg Muffins

Miss muffins on Paleo? Try this version—basically mini omelets baked in a muffin tin—for an infinitely customizable snack. Fill with your favorite veggies and meats, like chicken sausage or ham, and enjoy for breakfast or whenever a snack craving hits.

22. Beef Jerky

Jerky lovers were eating Paleo before it was cool (well, before it was cool again). Dried or smoked meat is the modern caveman’s ultimate snack. This simple recipe has to go in a dehydrator for a few hours but lasts for about two weeks, so we think it’s worth the wait.

23. Lemon Garlic Chicken Skewers

Photo: What The Fork

Here’s a three-ingredient kebab combo that’s great to prep ahead of time (and trust us, they keep well enough in the fridge for a next-day snack). Cut chicken breasts into cubes and marinate in Tessemae’s Lemon Garlic Dressing for 1-3 hours. Thread cubes onto a skewer and grill for about 15 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley. No extra sauce needed.

Hand-tear kale into bite-size pieces, coat in olive oil, sprinkle with sea salt and pepper, and bake until the edges are crunchy and brown. Serve with garlic aioli for a Paleo-approved snack that tastes anything but.

25. Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

While this recipe is probably easiest around Halloween, roasted pumpkin seeds keep great in bags for a truly mobile snack. Sprinkle with cumin or curry powder for a slightly spicier version.

26. Rosemary Sesame Herb Crackers

Crackers can be tough to replicate with Paleo-approved ingredients, but these taste pretty frickin good to us. A blend of nut flours, plenty of fresh herbs, and toasted sesame seeds give these crackers big flavor. Serve with any of the guac, hummus, or dip recipes above.

27. Ultimate Seed Crackers

Pumpkin seeds, flaxseeds, sesame seeds, and chia seeds combine to make the ultimate crispy-crunchy Paleo crackers. These can be used as dippers if made thick enough, but are just as good on their own, especially when you add some herbs and spices, such as garlic, thyme, or basil.

28. Chocolate Coconut Cashew Bars

Energy bars are great on the go, but sometimes their complex ingredient lists don’t make for the cleanest eating. Make some Paleo bars on the cheap by blending figs, cashews, coconut flakes, vanilla, and a dash of sea salt, then pouring a thin layer of melted dark chocolate chunks on top.

29. Garlic Herb-Roasted Nuts

Photo: Little Bits Of

DIY roasted nuts are easier than you’d think—all you need is a bag of mixed nuts, an egg white, and go-to spices: sea salt, pepper, rosemary, sage, garlic powder, and paprika. Coat the nuts in the egg white in one bowl, and mix all the spices in another. Pour the spice mix over the nuts, transfer to a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper, and roast for 16 minutes.

30. Carrot Cake Energy Balls

Sweet treats that actually contain a ton veggies? Sign us up. Shred carrots and pecans, then mix with egg whites, cinnamon, raw honey, coconut flour, and ground flaxseed. Form into balls and bake for 12-15 minutes. Eat a few warm and save the rest for hikes, morning commutes, or that 3 p.m. hunger pang.

Sweet Treats

31. Strawberry Coconut Ice Cream

It’s not quite as easy as one-ingredient banana ice cream, but it’s definitely as tasty. This recipe calls for coconut cream to give the finished product a smooth texture, and can be made with or without an ice cream maker.

32. Grilled Peaches

Photo: Amee's Savory Dish

Halve fresh peaches and coat the cut sides in ghee or coconut oil instead of grapeseed oil, then grill on medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes, flesh side down. They’re sweet enough as is, but serving with some natural honey or a sprinkle of cinnamon can boost the flavor even more.

33. Almond Joy Fudgesicles

Photo: My Modern Cookery

A Paleo work-around for an ice cream truck classic? We thought it was impossible, till we tried these fudgy chocolate bars. They’re avocado based (obviously) and use cocoa powder, honey, and coconut milk to mirror the original’s taste and consistency.

34. Strawberry Banana Sorbet

Four-ingredient recipes are always a winner in our book. This one uses frozen strawberries and bananas, plus almond milk and vanilla. Blend them all in a food processor or high-speed blender and freeze for a few hours. Sweet sweet sorbet, here you come.

35. Blackberry Mint Lime Fruit Leather

Avoid added sugars and preservatives with this homemade fruit leather. Use blackberries, mint, lime juice, and zest, and honey for a tart but sweet flavor combo. All the ingredients get blended together, then rolled out onto parchment paper and baked till dry.

36. Almond Butter Baked Apples

Core fresh apples and fill with almond butter, pecans, raisins, coconut, and pumpkin seeds, plus a pinch of sea salt and cinnamon and a drizzle of maple syrup. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes and enjoy a dense, flavorful dessert (or breakfast!).

37. Dark Chocolate Coconut Energy Bites

Another take on the no-bake energy balls, this recipe uses dates, nuts, unsweetened cocoa powder, coconut, and vanilla for a sweet treat that tastes like a healthed-up brownie bite.

38. Magic Cookie Bars

Photo: Food Faith Fitness

Paleo cookie bars sounds like an oxymoron, but with coconut milk, honey, coconut flour, almonds, and coconut oil, it can be done. Warning: Dairy-free dark chocolate chips and unsweetened coconut flakes make it reallyyy hard to eat just one.

39. Pumpkin Pie Chia Pudding

Photo: Sprouted Routes

Ditch the pumpkin pie and make this sweet custard instead, using dates, puréed pumpkin, creamy nut milk (like coconut or cashew), chia seeds, and all the fall spices—cinnamon, ground ginger, nutmeg, allspice, and salt.
